Birthday Reminder gets a new home

Nobody likes free tenants. Maybe thats why, buildtolearn threw out all its free tenants, bringing down yogamaya along with one of the only useful things I had running on my old site. Now, I have a rented apartment, I pay to stay here, so the reminder is expected to run as long as I am paying the rent

Automatic Birthday Reminder is a database of date of births of people whom I know. It sends automatic reminders to people who subscribe to the list. The above list is for MSRIT students. You can join it if you are from MSRIT.

devadutta.net Version 4.0

Ladies, gentlemen, boys, girls, patala veerare and the rest of you, I proudly announce the release of devadutta.net version 4.0.
This release features major updates to the back end and a few minor updates to the front end, bringing 4.0 out of beta!
Release Notes

  • Backend updated to support assignment of multiple categories to an article.
  • Completely node driven model.
  • Databases normalized and major bugs fixed in database access
  • Integrated with FCK Editor
  • Theme support

All new features have been incorporated in the back end and you will slowly see them appear on the front.
This version will be released under GPL . I am planning to call itnbsp; d.is.h. All philosophical significances related to the name will be explained, but later.

OrkutScrapAll — Grease Monkey Script for all you orkut lovers.

This greasemonkey script Opens the scrapbooks of all your friends for whom you have not posted replies. Currently, it cannot check if you have posted a reply or not and simply opens the scrapbooks of all the people visible on the current window, but the next versions will be able to do that. Until then, “chennagi kutti.”

Installation
Note: Steps 1 and 2 can be understood using Google and Wikipedia.

1. Get FireFox 1.5 and install
2. Get Greasemonkey and install
3. Restart FireFox and make sure grease monkey is running.
4. Then, clik here

OrkutScrapAll

You will see somthing like the bar below

Click on install.

5. Refresh the page.

To use ScrapAll

1. Open your Scrapbook or any Orkut page (not the help, meda etc)
2. In FireFox, go to Tools > User Script Commands >ScrapAll and click. It looks somthing like the image below.

3. Click on ScrapAll
4. FireFox will say the popup was blocked. Click on edit options and allow popups from the www.orkut.com
5. Click on ScrapAll again, you will see all the scrapbooks of the people visible on the current page to open in different windows!
