jam mASHtra: Automatic JAM ( Just A Minute ) Timer

jam mASHtra: Just a minute mastering ashtra ( Asthra in sanskrit means tool)

Last year, for Udbhav at MSRIT, I conducted a Kannada Jam competition. The day before the competition, I was worried that no one will turn up for the competition. I thought it would be a flop. But to my surprise, the event saw a full house audience. I was forced to finish the competition by the admin staff since I had exceeded my time slot, but the audience did not listen and forced me to conduct it for some more time!
It was a thrilling experience.
One of the reasons behind the success of the event was, jam mASHtra.

jam mASHtra: Is an automatic and easy to use jam timer. I coded this the day before the event just to save myself from keeping insane jam logs for each participant.

jam mASHtra is very intuitive to use and if you know how to conduct a JAM, things will simply flow.

More updates!

Updates! These are the last few in row for this semester. I have one or two more, after that there may be a long pause on the update front.
Change Log:

  1. Clicking on the Random image link takes you to the gallery and displays the image clicked on. Earlier, this did not happen and people had to randomly look for the random image
  2. Now you can view all the nodes on this page by clicking on the quot;Allquot; link in the more content tab.
  3. Changed the shamelessly hacked random image code to work better. It works fine even from external embedded links and I got rid of PNGrandomimage.php which was an exclusively hacked version of randomimage.php for external links.
  4. Last and not the least, the dude is enlightened

Birthday Reminder gets a new home

Nobody likes free tenants. Maybe thats why, buildtolearn threw out all its free tenants, bringing down yogamaya along with one of the only useful things I had running on my old site. Now, I have a rented apartment, I pay to stay here, so the reminder is expected to run as long as I am paying the rent
The new address is here

Automatic Birthday Reminder is a database of date of births of people whom I know. It sends automatic reminders to people who subscribe to the list. The above list is for MSRIT students. You can join it if you are from MSRIT.
